About Us
Crystal Light Distributors is a family business created in 2003 by Rhonda and Keith who have now been married for over twenty-five years.
Our multi-facetted individual and joint careers embrace various fields of endeavour. Rhonda has worked most of her life with children and their families as a teacher, welfare worker, research assistant, foster parent, home-based childcarer and homeschooler.Keith is a retired medical ultrasonographer (Vascular) and nurse, with previous work experience as a tradesman, police officer and yoga teacher . His interest in computers has been invaluable to the efficient working of our new ventures.
Keith has one adult daughter who has two young girls. Together we are parents to three foster-children, natural siblings, who have been with us from a very early age. They have all been constant guiding forces in our lives.
While our family structure may seem to be unconventional, we have found each other through space and time, so while we are not related, we are strongly committed to living, loving, learning and growing together as a family.
Many of our life skills and lessons seemed to merge once our foster-children came into our lives. Their varying needs, as well as their spoken (and unspoken ) demands forced us into a search for alternative ways of looking at healing, education, socialisation and the future of society as a whole.
While we originally established Crystal Light Distributors to launch child-based products or programs, over the past few years the sale and promotion of Josephine Wall's beautiful products has taken us in new directions.
In 2008 we extended our products to include other visionary and fantasy art products, inclusding puzzles, posters, cards, figurines etc. In late 2009 a long-held dream of opening a storefront was realised at St Fiacre Distillery (formerly the Fragrant Gardens). We were fortunate to be able to display our products in a section of the original mud-brick shop, which is surrounded by beautiful, well established gardens.
The next step in our journey began in 2011 when we were offered a place on The Gnostic Corner at Woy Woy, where we joined a community of like-minders in a co-operative of eight shops. In August of 2011 Gnostic Enchantments opened its doors, offering a wider range of fantasy products, or 'winged gifts to lift your spirit'. Josephine's products still hold a prime position there!
Over the past eight years we have had the pleasure of 'meeting' many wonderful people, either personally or on-line. We thank you all for the support you have given and the friendship you have extended, and hope we can continue our connections for many years to come.
